Faam Gallery's Art Wall is a place dedicated to promoting talented artists. Every two weeks, a new artist is promoted here. This week's Art Wall features a beautiful selection of illustrations by Shahab, who has used various symbols and motifs in an inventive style to tell an untold fictional story about Adam and Eve.

Shahabeddin Alavi
Biography

Born in the city of Ray in Iran in 1979, Shahab studied graphic design and discovered his passion in illustration. He later became a member and instructor at the Association of Iranian Illustrators and throughout his career, he participated in multiple national and international illustration and cartoon competitions.

His works have been exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions, and have appeared in numerous international shows.  Among these are the annual Bologna Children's Book Fair Illustrators Exhibition, the Annual Iran Illustration Show and the Warsaw Art Expo, where his work was nominated for the best illustration.

Shahab has also illustrated many children's educational books as well as a novel.
